This unit develops the students’ understanding, skills and knowledge of risk and uncertainty in project management and innovation. Students are introduced to the different Project Management Methodologies, including Prince and Agile, to plan, organise, resource, deliver and evaluate a creative industry project. The student assignment is based upon a real-life tender brief with a previous project including a NESTA proposal tendering for the role of a learning partner for the ‘Amplified City of Leicester project.
This year’s assignment involved the project management for a film short screen awards ceremony in London. Students are again expected to work in teams, reflect on the project management process and also the team-working dynamic.
